Eco Club.

The College has recently set up an Eco-Club (Go Green) in order to create awareness on bio-diversity issues. The objective of forming this unit was mainly to awaken in the students their sense of community—their obligation to each other and to future generations and to safeguard planet earth. By involving them in various environmental related extension programmes, the club aims at arousing their sense of responsibility and realization of the threats to our environment such as climate change, deforestation, air pollution etc., and to practice and teach the right kind of care and commitment for the environment. The club members hope to challenge students to find new ways to address those problems by reaching back to our oldest community values and responsibility— by inspiring a greater respect for the land and its resources. Toward this end, the club and its members are presently drawing up practical and feasible action plans to take up in a continuous way.
