The NCC unit of the College is one of the most active units of Kohima group. The Army wing falls under the jurisdiction of 24th NAGA (INDEED) coy NCC (boys) and 66NL (9) coy (girls) with two faculty members as caretaker officers.

In keeping with the aims of this organization which is mainly to train and motivate the youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the armed force, the cadets participate in Independence Day, Republic Day and Cultural parades and have several times been adjudged the best marching contingents. They have annually been attending National Integration Camps held in other parts of the country and have undergone and successfully completed basic leadership camps. They have also participated in the “Thal Sanik” and RDC camps at New Delhi. Besides these, they also engage in basic course in Para sailing, participate in shooting competitions, attend shooting camps, undertake treks, participate in ‘Blood Donation’ drives, in Peace walks and de-addiction rallies. Some of the cadets have passed the “Best Cadet” examinations; the B and C certificate Exams, and a few have even won the Best Cadet awards.
